In accordance with the Guidelines for Enterprises to Prevent Damage Caused by Antisocial Forces (published by the Meeting of Cabinet Ministers Responsible for Anti-Crime Measures), Joshin Denki Co., Ltd. and its Group companies shall firmly confront against intervention by antisocial forces that pose a threat to social order and safety, and resolutely eliminate such forces. In addition, in order to fulfill our social responsibility as a business enterprise and to gain the trust of society, we shall adhere to the following basic principles.
- Basic principles for preventing damage caused by antisocial forces
・Organizational responses
・Coordination with external specialized organizations
・Severing of all relationships, including business transactions
・Legal action, both civil and criminal, in event of an emergency
・Prohibition of backroom deals and funding
- Responses based on these basic principles
・We will take organization-wide action in response to improper demands by antisocial forces, as such demands can cause anxiety and fear, and if the personnel or departments in charge attempt to respond on their own, they may be forced to comply with such demands.
・We will ensure the safety of employees who respond to improper demands by antisocial forces.
・In preparation for improper demands by antisocial forces, we will build close relationships with external specialized organizations such as the police, the National Center for Removal of Criminal Organizations, and attorneys.
・We will not have any relationships, including business transactions, with antisocial forces. We will also reject any improper demands by antisocial forces.
・We will take legal action, both civil and criminal, in the event of improper demands by antisocial forces.
・Even if improper demands by antisocial forces are based on misconduct in our business activities or misconduct of our employees. we will never engage in backroom deals to conceal such fact.
・We will never provide funds to antisocial forces.
