Up to now, I’ve been involved in production technology and promoting IT/DX at the front line of a B2B business of a Japanese materials manufacturer. I hold the deepest respect for the efforts of employees in the distribution and home appliance industries who spend every day alongside customers providing value on the front lines.

 

My duty is to provide appropriate oversight of management from my independent, outside standpoint, while also encouraging the Company to leverage its strengths and to address its management issues from a medium- to long-term perspective. As the business environment undergoes seismic changes due to the rapid evolution of AI, digitalization, and increased geopolitical risks, I will help make governance more robust and transparent to achieve sustainable growth and increase corporate value.

 

It’s the insights and enthusiasm of each of our employees working in both stores and back offices that will be the power forging the future of Joshin.
