In fiscal 2024, the Group received third-party assurances from Japan Audit and Certification Organization for Environment and Quality (JACO) for Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 categories 1, 4, and 11. These account for 98.8% of total emissions from the entire Group.

JACO conducted verification in accordance with ISO 14064 3:2019 ; Greenhouse gases Part 3:Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of g reenh ou se gas statemen ts . We con ducted the following activities as part of limited assurance
- Hearing or document inquiries to the Organization’s officials who are responsible for identifying and accounting greenhouse gas emissions;
- Evaluation of the inform ation data) used to d etermine t he greenhou se gas emissions, the method of applying the calc u l ation criteria, the method of measuring the data and the assumptions adopted by the company , and examination of description of the GHG report ; and
- Verification by samp li ng in order to confirm ac curacy of G HG emissions.
Verification activities applied in a limited level of assura nce verification are less extensive innature, timing and extent than in a reasonable level of assurance verification.
