We Have Received Third-party Assurances of Numeric Values

In fiscal 2025, the Group received third-party assurances from Japan Audit and Certification Organization for Environment and Quality (JACO) for Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 categories 1, 4, and 11. These account for 99.2% of total emissions from the entire Group.In addition, from this fiscal year, we have received third-party assurances for Energy consumption, and are striving to disclose more reliable data. We will continue to promote engagement with our investees based on reliable data and contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society.

Summary of Verification

JACO conducted verification in accordance with ISO 14064 3:2019 ; Greenhouse gases Part 3:Specification with guidance for the verification and validation of greenhouse gas statements .

  • Hearing or document inquiries to the Organization’s officials who are responsible for identifying and accounting greenhouse gas emissions;
  • Evaluation of the inform ation data) used to d etermine t he greenhou se gas emissions, the method of applying the calc u l ation criteria, the method of measuring the data and the assumptions adopted by the company , and examination of description of the GHG report ; and
  • Verification by samp li ng in order to confirm ac curacy of G HG emissions.
